ok...i bailed on the swap for the following reasons...

1, i was having a bish of a time trying to get a 10mm bolt off (awkward angle) and started throwing sh!t around

2, started raining

3, was actually called away on an emergency and had to pick up a friend who's car died at Shea Stadium

here are some pics so far...

went to Sears and picked up the mother of all floor stands...

i guess i really can't judge from the pic....cuz the pic looks like there is a bit of space.

yeah the camera was literally on the ground when i took the shot...it's just too close to give much perspective...there's not nearly as much room as it appears

finally, my stripped jack
http://images5.fotki.com/v61/photos/4/43461/725170/ScannedPicture17-vi.jpg

so to summarize, an install that originally was supposed to take an hour tops took 2 days, 2 trips to Sears, about $225 worth of tools (3.5 ton floor stand and a 26 piece wrench set), and a busted jack

muahahahaha some of my finest work yet :D:D
