It is more like a ding in the drivers side door panel. A shopping cart hit it and scratched and dented it a little. But it still pisses me off. Where is a good place that can remove it so that it is not noticable anymore. WHen I bought the car there was a dent that looked removed from the passanger side. But I can tell it was taken out. I would really like that one taken out and the one just made taken out. I can get some pics... just pissing me off right now. Where is a good place in the NY area. I live on the board of NY and NJ.

well if it's a scratch that is not too deep, you can used that universal scratch remover paint and take it off. i thinks it's a g27 or something like that. i have it in my den. do you know what i'm talking about? i can take a pic if u want it.

i just used it on a scratch 2 days ago and it really works well. takes out the scratch completely

then u can buy a dent remover kit for about $20-30 and remove the dent ur self

well my dad just told me that the shopping place should cover it with their liability insurane. I work there and it sat there for 8 hours. I leave it always on the side where there is a camera just in case anything would happen. SO after an 8 hour shift and no food I came out and there it was. I was pissed. I saw some younger kids(13) and questioned them. They said they didnt see anything and didnt do anything. So at first I thought someone keyed it and pushed it in. Then I went back and saw a cart did it. And the manager confirmed that by looking at the tape. So now tomorrow I will go back and see if they will let me file a claim so that they will cover it. Makes me feel a lot better. I can take it to a professional shop and get it done right.

i used to be a bookkeeper for pathmark for about 4-5 year and i never knew that they would cover something like this. plus i seriously doubt they would too.

that happened to my friends civic who works at wal-mart. he parks his car far far away from everyone and everything and he left work one day and found his front fender bashed in by a cart (it was really windy that day). wal-mart covered the repair for him.

NO, the grocery store is not held responsible for anything involving personal property and their shopping carts... there is a sign outside where i work stating this..........so pretty much i could scratch ur car with the grocery cart and u can blame it on the store not knowing it was me and they can tell u to screw off..... so pretty much.... ur insurance will have to cover it.

5+ years at waldbaums, and I never heard of it either. I know we wouldn't. ****, do you know how many people get their side view mirrors ripped off in my parking lot? This is why I park in the suburbs across the street.

not at all. but my girl works there, and all my friends from Queens live around that area. So it helps maintain my close friendships and I sleep over my girls house on the weekends. So it works out. :)

;) Won't be for too much longer. If this internship works out, once I graduate I should hopefully have a job in the city. :) Then I make real money, not monopoly money.

they have to have liability insurance...just say some slips and falls on ur property you are held liable. Same situation... they have to carry insurance. JUst like SpeedeeGTS said they covered it. I am going to ask the store manager tomorrow. Even if I got it fixed with my own money it wont be a big deal but I rather take it to a shop and have it done. BTW I have never seen any signs where I work saying that they are not held responsible for anything. It is hard to believe they wouldnt cover it considering it happened on their property..we will see

That would be "personal injury" you are talking about "property damage"

Just my 2 cents, Good luck bro, keep us posted!!!

as Johnny Wolf said, personal injury is waaaaaaaaaaay different that property damage. every company has to have personal injury as opposed to property damage

I asked one manager today and he wasnt sure. When I go back tomorrow the other guy will be in. I know property damage and personal damage is different. I shouldnt of used a person. I cant think of a situation right now but they have to have insurance for stuff like this.

I asked my Aunt and Uncle who are both Managers of two different supermarkets (both Ralphs) They said they won't cover it. They say people ask this all the time. ie: Cars getting keyed, dinged, hit by carts, etc.... The only way it would be covered is if the stores roof, wall, signage, or pillar fell over on your car. Or if it was hit buy a company truck. I think your going to be S>O>L>.

Sorry, that's just what they said.

Good luck!!!!

...maybe because he "works there".

As I stated before "just my 2 cents" just writing what I was told.

No man this waldbaums doesn't suck. you want one that sux, go to the one by raindew on 35th or whatever ave that is. It's the smallest waldbaums in the NE. Our waldbaums is clean at least. Yea prices are high, but I use the 5 finger discount ocasionally. ;)

and my hours? uhhh :ugh: :gap: I work weekends, nuff said.

hehe...i use to do this when i felt hungry :gap: .....i used to be the only1 that can "sign out" stuff for "store use" (well besides the store mng and assist)

sometimes i used to "sign out" cereal, cookies, entimens(spell?) cakes, hogies, deli sandwiches.....ect ....and i would put the expense as "store expense/peti cash" on the computer :gap:

ahh yeah, signing out stuff. they use that in the deli department, produce, and bakery. the rest of us cant use it. so depending on what manager is working it makes it easier or harder to ... um, borrow stuff. :hide: :gap:

oh yeah, and its spelled "entenmann's"

our mnger used to act hard too. but i gave him no options. i told him, give me the power to do so, otherwise the books will be messed up every week :gap: . since the other other bookkepper sucked and didn't know what she was doing, i had alot of power over the store mnger :D

update: They let me file a claim... they said my case was legit. We will see if they cover it. That means that all these places do have insurance. So if it happens to you ask.
