Downloading music

what do u use for downloading music....i am a legal guy..... i might not have been before but thats for me to know, lol. but anyways, i now use iTunes where u pay 99 cents per song.

I use kazaa lite... FREE. There's always a free way bro, you just have to find it.

fawk that...i dont DL music enough to pay....ive DL'ed maybe 100 songs on this laptop and ive had it for a year....now networking to other friends computers and transferring files to mine...THATS a different story :hide: im in the vacinity of 5k-6k songs

my friends r computer geniuses/hackers.....they get there music for free and laugh at me for now that im gonna start to pay but i dont feel like runnin the risk and plus my brother is a musician and i see where he is comin from where he says its wrong.

movies, **** yeah. I get those too. I convert them so they play on my phone. I love technology.

Oh yeah, 6 years, 6 different P2P file servers, over 2,000 songs, and 200+ movies. No one ever hassled me. :)

yeah i saw that commercial, but i dont get how they actually track people down. maybe if you're a Kazaa whore and you're dling 24/7. I just DL whatever new song comes out I like. I stopped DL'ing movies pretty much. takes too long, and I'd rather own the actual DVD.

I now backup. Im now hovering around 935 singles
& 110 CD's. You win (for now)! /grin

1,243 singles after my file transfer from my old PC to my laptop yesterday in which i lost 2,894 mp3's in the process :mad:

however...ALL of my singles are segregated to their own folders by genre of music.

techno...trance...jungle...dance...country...oldie s...rap...ska...swing...themes...classic/soft rock...hardcore metal...comedies

as you can see i have a VERY eclectic taste in music :thumbup:

I'm a musician and i dont think dl'ing is bad either. CD's are way overpriced. Plus musicians make like 2 cents per cd. Thier money really comes from concerts and merch.

Hit the nail right on the head..but the record label is what is losing out...but wo gives a crap...they really dont need them anymore..lol...if you think about it you can schedule your own tours....record your own music, burn them onto a cd, sell your own cd's..what else is there...

Ska is kinda like early no doubt...real early....but its mostly bands with a horn section ( ie trumpet trombone) get thrown into this category

devils right about ska...you could also throw in the mighty mighty bosstones to name a more popular ska band back in the day.

jungle is like tchno and trance but with a "jungle" drum and bass sort of feel to it. comedies are as they say MP3's or george carlin, etc.

and FYI i listen to techno/trance ALOT :gap:

You guys have massive HD issuse me thinks. The reason why i have that many mp3's is not cuz I've been running the same computer forever with zero problems (I wish). It's cuz whenever i hit 700MB of music I burn that puppy onto a CD. ****, I have at least 15 MP3 CD's. :chuckles:
