it was on an incognito test drive...grey primer with leopard spots, slim 16" tires on rough black rims and on the dash board all the test equipment scattered all over the place. The driver seemed embarassed of driving such an odd looking car....Michigan plates....That thing is going to be sweeet.
too bad there was a lot of traffic, I wanted to race it :gap:
Best comeback of an old school design I've seen since the Thunderbird.

Why would the exact test car that was spied 8 months ago in the Ford Facility (in all the magazines) be on the streets in Denver in test track camo when the actual production cars have been released to the public for viewing and press releases?

I smell something.

a couple years back when i was visiting my uncle in colorado... there were two different incognito suv's that were being tested cause we happened to be on dirt/pebble roads that day up in the mountains.

I dunno...but I was next to the car at the stoplight (next to its rear wheels) wishing I had a camera....I did not have time to talk to the guy.
Michigan plates, maybe a cross country road trip?

sounds legit..they're not about to dismantle the testbeds just because of public viewings. This is how they increase their quality, etc. of the car, by testing the **** out of it.

sure...go all the trouble to bs about spotting a test Mustang which I wanted to race in my Diablo while cruising with Jenna Jameson and Britney Spears around Aurora CO.

I know the stang is supposed to be released Summer 04....maybe the guy got a good deal on an unfinished 05 Mustang and he's the fist to own it....we'll never know:rolleyes:

Too bad they got rid of the side scoops, changed the rear, toned down the front. Now it looks kinda gay like the generation previous to the one before the current one (if that makes any sense)

Way to go ford, way to think it through.

hahahaha, if u raced it, and beat it (which u wouldent have), you would have prompted them to put a different engine in a 2005 mustang :)

Those pics are from Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. I see lots of test cars on Sunset for some reason...usually domestics, but there was a Toyota once. I saw the same leopard camo on two Fords last month...a sedan and some sort of small van/suv type thing. they stuck out like sore thumbs

Hopefully the top end model be it cobra or Shelby will have the mustang looking like it should. The chop of that stang with those items on it looked so hot.
