Ok I just stopped by my local audio shop and placed some of the orders for my new car system please tell me what you think as a whole or as individual parts oppinions are welcomed but no flaming please
pioneer 6400 series head unit
front and rear infinity kappa perfect components 6.5
two kove armageddons 12' with mtx 500d amp
custom box with digital 1 farad cap
full dynamat of car as well as custom built and fitted sub box in rear
sub box will be quick disconnect from the amp and cap for racing use and that is about it I think so please let me know what you think good or bad and if bad what do you think I should change it too the only thing that is unchangeable is the head unit because I have already picked it up and total price should come in right around 2k including all work and again thanks for your time

Sounds good to me. Are you getting an amp to power the Infintys as well? It will sound better (in my opinion) as it can provide more headroom than the amp in the head unit. As always show us pics when its done :).

ohh yeah i forgot about tha one, yes their is an amp to power the infinity's i believe it will be a kove amp but not sure and I will be sure to take pictures as soon as it all comes in

Just out of interest, what kind of dynamat are they using and how much is it going to be to do the whole car? (parts and labor) I did my own install and I'd like to know how much I saved.

Otherwise, :thumbup: on the system.

well I am not sure what type of dynamat but I do know parts and labor included it iwll be right about two large for everything installed and done and that includes every little minor detail that may come up

When you get the bill and everything is itemized, please post the cost of the dynamat used and the total labor hours?

I spent $145 for 100sq ft of sound damping. I covered everything except the floor pan in the passenger area with multiple layers. Search this section for my name and dynamat and you'll find a better description and pics.
