I've got a bunch of questions here I hope someone can help me with.

Here's my problem: I've got a single 10" Jensen Sub (unknown model) it's boxed and ported already (by Jensen). I don't know the model number or any other specs on it. I picked it up from my buddy who had it powered by an 800watt amp but he also powered his 2 rear speakers with the same amp. I only want power the sub with an amp, not my rear speakers. I plan on hooking it all up to the stock GT system. Here are my questions:

1. What size amp should I use? (I'm not looking for insane bass)
2. What else (other than the actual amp) do I need to install? ie what resistance speaker wire, etc.
3. Where should I mount the amp?
4. How do you run wire from the dash to the trunk area?

I think that's all the questions I have right now. Any help you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Just looking at Jensen's site. It's very similar to this one...

http://www.jensen.com/mobile/non/subwoofers/xs1110bp.asp

On the one I have, there is no graphics on the speaker itself. It just says Jensen on the window.

well, I will try to help ya :)
As far as the sub, I don't think it will handle more than a few hundred watts rms. How much money are you going to spend on a amp? you can get some phatty phoenix gold amps (tantrum 300.2 or 500.2 for 225 to 300 or so. I use the 300.2 to power my fronts, its a solid amp.
as far as the wiring, you have to run the wires under the door runners and under the rear seats to the trunk, there is a good how to on the install section of this site, if not here ,try here,

hope this helps
