and my plate says Iowa on the top. that was showing fine, the numbers were in plain view not covered at all, and the part at the very bottom that says my county which is LINN was coverd by my Injen licence plate frame. the cop gave me the ticket and explained what it was for, told me i didnt have a front plate on even tho he hadnt even looked at the front of my car or been in front of me at all. so i told him there was a front plate on the car as i looked at him w/ discust for being such a jackass, he goes around and looks at the front for the first time and says "hey joe, there IS a front plate on here!" then he comes back and trys to re-explain that its all under the same section so hes gunna leave it as-is and tells me to get the cover off when i get home. so what should i do? thanks for takin the time to read this those who did! -taylor oh p.s. the ticket is for $30....did he still try to charge me for the front plate since he already had it written up? or would the charge b the same?
