Ok I know that when reducing backpressure and putting on a higher flowing exaust it seems to burble more and doesn't sound as stable, but should the intake side do anything? my situation is I changed my filter on my Injen CAI for an Aerospeed (only $25 so not too sure about the quality) which looks and sounds like it flowed better, but now my exaust seems to burble more and kind of makes little popping noises nothing really bad but it does. While driving home from work today (not sure if switching gears or just letting of gas don't remember) it backfired, not insanly loud like you hear from old pickup trucks but a backfire anyway. Any help would be great.
