I was checking out the Toyota site and came along this in their compare feature. It said that the GT-S comes with "Remote Decklid/Tailgate Release" standard. Does this mean the trunk can be opened remotely? I don't even think I have a trunk release inside the car, let alone the keyless entry controller. That's what a Decklid/Tailgate sounds like to me, who knows, maybe it is something completely different. Please enlighten me :)

Toyota's site also says we get "tinted glass." Anyone ever seen factory tinted glass on a new celica?

The hatch unlocks when the "unlock" button inside the car is pushed. It unlocks all 3 doors. On the keyless entry, it will unlock the driver's side door with one push, and the other 2 doors (passenger and hatch) on the second push. That can be reprogrammed BTW so that 1 push unlocks all 3 doors. That's how I had it in both of my Celicas.
As far as the tinted windows are concerned. It is tinted, but only a few percent. Not what most people call "tinted" but technically it is tinted some.
