Ok i've never bought a CAI for either of the two celica's ive had, BUT im seriously thinking about purchasing one from Injen..is this a good choice...AND are they really expensive and where is probably the best place with the best deal to get one..how about from the Injen site??
This has probably been discussed somewhere on this site before...but i haven't seen it recently...i just need some input thats all...thanks:burnout:

After this all i gotta do is get my tints done, logo put on my windshield, put the smoked overlays for my rear lights on that i ordered and MAYBE just MAYBE headers...MAN im so pissed that tinting windows went up in price since last time i had it done...from $120 in 2001 to $160 in 2004! damnnnn

It's a good purchase. Will make your engine sound great. I think there around $250. I got it so long ago i cant remember. If you dont have one, I recommend you get an exhuast too tho. Especially if your willing to get headers. Just find a site that has them. Do some research and yee shall find!

Also..i forgot to ask..whats the difference between a short ram intake and a cold air intake??:wtf:

Ok, short ram just opens up the filter more, but keeps it in the same location. Better but not great since all the heat from the engine is what robs most of the power from the mixture. A CAI extends the filter outside of the engine compartment where the air is undisturbed by the heat of the engine. Colder air=more power.

Short ram will give you a nice sound on a Celica, that's about it. Get the CAI. ;)
