After countless threads like this one: http://newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=81599
Where essentially nobody really knows for sure if Kaminari sells the grill that is on their showcase car or not, I've finally got everything together and even a part #.

Always interesting, where one person calls Kaminari , and a representative at Kaminari says "just go to a hardware store and get some there".
Then another person will come onto the site and state "Yeah Kaminari sells it, just call them up".

My experience went like this:
I called Kaminari, I asked to purchase a grill for my yet to be installed Kaminari kit.
His response: We usually just have people go to a hardware store and pickup whatever they want there.
I then pushed him on the issue, i said, well I've heard that, but I've also heard that Kaminari sells a grill that is of better thickness and is just like the silver kaminari Celica on your website.
his response: Oh, well lemme go check in the back in the wharehouse to see if we have any............ he then says , I'll call you back.
I waited a few days , got no call back so I called them and he had the full story for me.
him: we do sell it, here's the part number then go to this website , then call us with your cc #, you need 3 peices @ $40/pieces and it'll be $20 to ship.

So in summation:
1. Kaminari does sell the grill that you see on their car.
2. The part number is: K0GRILL (-the second character is a zero.)
3. Go to the order page on Kaminari's website, direct link: http://www.kaminari.com/order.htm Fill it out
4. You need 3 pieces if you have a full Kaminari kit
5. Each piece is $40, add $20 for shipping.
6. Call the number on the bottom of the order page to confirm it, and give them your credit card number.

$140 total for the grills?? Thats a bit too much. I'll just stick with using gutter guards.

Sheeeeeit just go to mcmaster.com and look for it, I got what looks like the same stuff Kaminari uses and it seems to be pretty strong. I cut out generous portions for each opening (front and rear Kam) and I still probably have enough for 3 for sets at least!! Anyway I paid like $40 for one sheet which was even shipped unbent at all. Hey, you can't beat it!! if anyone wants I could tell you exactly the measurements for all the pieces I cut out (enough for all of the openings of the kam front and rear except the foglight openings)

Heres the page, scroll down to hexagon-hole perforated sheets, it would be the aluminum one: http://www.mcmaster.com/asp/loadpage.asp?pagenum=3433&descid=16732&term=Hexagon-Hole+Perforated+Sheet

Edit: if the link doesn't work, just go to www.mcmaster.com and search for hexagon hole perforated sheets

Had this discussion with Blue Bomber via PM conversation. The McMaster grill is very thin and when Blue got his from McMaster's it was damaged in shipping because it was so thin. This was what made me decide to get it from Kaminari.

I can say after getting it that something does have to be found as an alternative. $40/sheet for this sh1t is absolutely outrageous.

I think the light is causing that effect on pic 2. I see what you're saying though.

If you honestly can't see the difference, you should probably visit your nearest Lenscrafters immediately. :)

You can see how wavy the grill is compared to the way stronger Kam grill. Looks like the same stuff I got back in the day (and promptly returned ;) ).
