Well I love my 2000 BMW 7 series and I've had it forever in perfect condition (well 4 years) but now I have the chance to trade it for a 2002 BMW M-5 with like 75 more hp (about 400)
Should I stick with luxury and speed or go with MORE speed and less luxury (i guess)?

You don't need much more luxury than an M5. The performance of the M5 far outweighs any lack of luxury that it may have.

OUT WITH THE 7
in with the m5!!!!!!
DO IT!
the driving pleasure you get out of the m5 will MORE than make up for the miniscule amount of luxury you lose--you will be much happier with it.

I don't think you'll be lacking in the luxury department if you switch over to the M5...

i dont know how u can say that m5 is a lack of luxury.
sure it probably wont have the spring loaded toilet paper dispenser and the bidet that the 7 series probably has (and which eventually will break) but im sure u could live with that.
m5 dude. no question.
if u were worried about luxury at all in any car u wouldnt have gotten the celica either.

i think the M5s only came with manual transmissions, and the new 7-series comes with automatics only.....correct me if i'm wrong.....but if you like driving, M5 is the answer.

im not sure about that one. the m3 comes in both auto and m/t, i'd imagine the same for the m5

M5 is strickly 6 spd. If you want a auto go get a 540i.

IMO, The 7 series is just too oafy. The M5 is just the right size, and has better road manners, and just badass performance.
I'd only keep the 7 series if you have family that will be with you in the car often.

y doesnt it add up? am i lying cause i didnt jump on the trade? im real picky about my cars and i've never seen an m5 up close, plus im not sure about used cars. i'd rather stick with what i've had than trade for something i havnt seen.
btw the car was out with someone else yesterday and my friend there said it would be back tomorrow so i may take pictures then
thanks all
