Weird Wire

Well i was cleaning out all the extra wires on the inside of my car from my neons i took out and i found what looks like a wire harness but it isnt plugged into anything.

Its one of those..ummm..dont know what to call it. Aww..screw it..imma go take a picture real quick. brb.

It looks like a red, green and maybe white wire. It was too dark and cold for me to fiddle with it because it didnt even want to let me pull it out that far.

Also i have this ground wire that was originally running to nothing but it was the same color green with like gold striping as one of the wires in the harness. It's connected to one of the screws that hold in the center console and it was connected to nothing but now i use it to ground my radar detector. Was that hooked to something from the factory?
