Have you ever had this problem with the moon roof?

Last night, I was getting out of my car and notice some peeling on my moon roof. When I look closer it looks like its peeling the tint off it. Does anyone know about this problem and know how to fix it?

There's a TSB on it. Supposedly if you bring your car to toyota before your warrantee is up they will replace it with the new ones on the 03-04 celica's for free. It's made of a different material, glass I think.

Using any harsh solvents to clean the moonroof will cause it to peel, just like regular tint. Soap and water are all that's necessary to clean it.

It's a problem with all 00-02 Celicas. The 03-04 moon roofs are made from glass.

Several dealers here in So Cal refused to replace mine (TSB /= recall).

I know theres no recall, but it's not replaced under warranty? If so, that's crap! :(

Mine is 01. But i have the extended warrenty..I hope they take it.
