static electricity

Okay, has anybody else experienced really bad static electricity problems with their car? Every time I get out of my car I get shocked hard enough to kill off small rodents!
and i have leather seats!

Happens in all cars. Especially in cold dry months.

doesnt happen in my BMW. And ive had the celica for 2+yrs and it recently started to happen

Your celica wants to kill you, I say sell it asap. :) It happens in most cars...maybe your BMW is well insulated...I dunno

It happens extremely bad in my celica though so i agree with soceur on this one.

Depends on the time of year and what type of shoes you are wearing. I think with my regular "shoes" it happens more and with my boots it doesn't happen at all.

I get really bad static electricity after I get out of my car and touch something metallic... usually a door knob and I will we a nasty shock... sometimes I see it the electric arc to that object before i even touch it..

Just be careful when you pump the gas.

happens all the time to me in the winter, and I only wear boots in the winter. So I dunno, I guess everyone's celi is different! :D

used to happen to me all the time, acutally shocked the **** outta my gf the night of prom lol...funny ****, she feel right over lmao...than she made me buy a grounding kit so that wouldnt happen again, but the ***** deserved to fall, she always hated my celi...hehe
