ATTN: All dropped Celicas!

hey guys whats up its me again..if you dropped your celica with lowering springs or gc's how are your stock shocks holding up? please state what springs you used and how long youve had them on your celica..oh yea and how is your ride? do the stock shocks wear out that quick? thanks for any info..

4 months on H&Rs, 7 months on Tanabe Super Downs. Almost a year of riding on springs with stock struts, and still going ok. No probs so far, and the struts seem to be holding up pretty well.

Tanabe Percedeo Super Down Springs - 2", so far its holding up, no loud clank sounds over bumps. I've had um on for about 4 months

gcs, shocks dead, hit the top of the shock all the time :)

had em on for.. umm.. a week?

ride is not so great.. but thats what you pay to make your car look good :)

Plus with GC, your handling is going to go out the window. Lowering a car will make it handle better until a certain point. Get Hotchkis or H&R if you want a drop that's lower than TRD.

I have a 2" drop by Goldline. I've had them for about 3 months.

Before I put in Goldlines, I had the TRD springs for almost 2 years.

My shocks are completely ok. No problems yet. Knock on wood! :)

I have had two differnt springs too. no probs.....they make a weird noise over speed bumps though, like an echo.

gc's for almost a year and no problems yet.
i bottomed out maybe a total of 10 times

I have the gc's and koni adjustibles... no problems yet. Decently stiff and great handling.

Superior to what?

I've been on TRD springs for almost a year now and have had no problems. I normally drive slow over bumps/driveways/speedbumps, well i kinda have to with my kit. The TRD's settled A LOT. But i have no probs with the stock struts or shocks... all is good on my end :)

Got 2" drop Progress Springs. Still holding up fine. Handling still good.

hey u guys with the TRD SPRINGS!! can i have pics of your celica..ive heard that they settle so much as to 1.5 in the front and 1.3 in the back is this true? ive seen some celicas with settled TRD springs and they look dropped but then again some look barely dropped with em on ....Can you guys please post pics of your TRD springed celicas? thanks!

Tein kit, 2.5 in drop. No problems for a year. No bottom outs, either
