oil changes

just had my oil done like 4days ago.i checked it today and they over filled it.i looked in my book and said only 3.7qts then looked on my recipt and they put in 4qt.i know i should have looked when i let but didnt.should i be ok?

Go look at your oil dipstick. If it reads normal, you're OK. If it reads high, you should be able to get them to do another oil change for free to correct their mistake.

Of course, the receipt might just be rounded to the nearest quart, so they might have used less than 4 quarts.

thanks for your help vvtlikick if it is over should i get it done asap?i will be going in for sure to let them know they over filled it.wouldnt want to mess up my nice new ride lol

adding 4 Qts shouldn't cause a problem.

thanks pro i took it back and they drained some out just to make me feel better but seems to run fine.

I do that ALL the time. It's fine .
