can celicas not burnout? my friends mustang burns out fine as we tested tonight, hehe. but seriously we tried it in my celica and it just wont......... is it because its front wheel..or is there a rev limiter on an automatic..... i then tried it in manual mode and samething.....is it just able to be done on standards? but his mustang is auto.

tonight kinda blew but drivin around was fun and tryin to change my friends tire was as well... we couldnt change it cause the jack was startin to slip out from under his car cause it wouldnt grip on the rusty bottom of his car since it was a 1988 nissan maxima, so i drove his moms lexus and he drove the flat nissan to hukelou (the chinese restaurant his dad owns) and then he dropped me off at home in the lexus.

Oh boy, hehe. The stang can do it cuz it has more than enough torque. Even tho its auto, it should be able to light em up no problem. An auto transmission makes less of a difference the more power the car is producing. You have a little 1.8 liter 4 banger automatic. Not exactly mind blowing power. So yes it is the transmission, you can light up just about anything with a manual tranny.

kia has a 6 spd. i used to be able to do 1 leggers too. not anymore, all i get is clutch slip :(

an auto GTS is putting out less than 140hp in low rpms...that is no where near enough to light em up...i have been able to do it in my auto a few times when the roads are a little wet...put the car in reverse and get the rpms up a lil, then rip on the ebrake, throw it into drive and floor it...
