Im running this amp and these 2 subs together... ive currently got the subs in parallel with the dvc so its

+ sub1 dvc1 -
+ sub1 dvc2 -
+ amp left -

&

+ sub2 dvc1 -
+ sub2 dvc2 -
+ amp right -

When i have just one sub running (disconnecting either left or right rc cable) it runs great. When i connect both its like the power drops to the subs... bass doesnt hit hard at all. Any guess whats wrong?

Heres the details on the 2...

Ok, so you have the voice coils on each sub wired in parallel then one sub on the left channel and one on the right? Just want to make sure I'm understanding you.

Double check the wiring from the subs to the amp and make sure they aren't out of phase. Is the sound becoming distorted at all?

yea, parallel.. i was gonna say that but i didnt want it to be wrong

i checked the wiring on the subs they are right, thats what a guy here said that it could be, that its out of phase from being wired wrong... i popped open the box and looked and it was wired right

if i put in the left rca, leaving out the right rca, the left one sounds good

if i put in the right rca, leaving out the left rca, the right one sounds good

put in both and it sounds really bad, very distorted

I had almost the same problem with my RF HX2 DVC's....what it was, was the box i was using was not sealed, meaning it had one cavity inside of it like this |____| not like this |__|__| .
I changed boxed and it worked great, the problem is that each sub fights another in an open set up.

This may not be what is happening, but thats my .02
