what should my first mods.be?

i got a 01 gt(5speed) about 2 weeks ago. what should my first mods be? wat were your first mods.

well.. mine was clearcorners.. but that was cause after buying the car i was pretty damn broke.. lol.. now that ive got my funds somewhat back im going for the injen CAI.. but its all up to u and how much yer willing to spend right now.. also consider if u want something thatll add HP.. looks.. or something like lowering springs and struts.. so... yeah theres some options.. good luck

Depends on how much money you have, if you have around $1,500-$2000 I say go for a nice 17 or 18" rim/tire combo if you don't have as much, I would say got for an Intake/Exhuast and headers if possible.. I would say those are the most noticable mods and are a definite, ohhh maybe drop the celi an inch or two, but I still say get some rims if you got the cash :D

If you really only have like 200 to spend I'd get an intake and clear corners if you can squeeze a little more outta that bank account. You could probably get the injen cai off this site and some clears from nopi.com or somewhere else for a total of 250 max shipped to your door. IMO the clears look a lot better than the orange OEM markers and from what the dynos show, a cai helps hp noticably. Or you could get altezza's, I dont care for them but a lot of peeps do. A short shifter is under 200. Look around, there are really a lot of things you can do for under 200... you just cant do much to your ride all at once.

Buy a Type-R sticker. You'll get at least 50hp gain.

save up for a system..man trust.. system is always a need in a car =0)

looking for speed? why not intake/exhaust/header combination.. i know u dont have the money for it right now but save up =0)

looking for looks? get a body kit....clear corners more looks? rims....

looking for better handling? lowering springs.. suspension system..

looking for help at nite? why not get some h.i.d.s?

If you are broke than first start to save some money, or try to raise some, maybe by donating blood or something else ;)

Then the first thing I would do is to lower the car and to mount some nice 17" or even 18" alloy wheels....

as long as it is bone stock it always looks like an SUV because of its height ;)

Next thing to do is a nive rearwing.... and then you can begin thinking about a cool body kit :D :D :D

First thing you could do for roughly $15-30 is buy an S2000 antenna.

Since you're owning a japanese sporty coupe like the celica, you should go about it like japanese owners do...go before show.

A cool air intake is the best first mod to get. AEM or Injen, whichever one is more accessible to you.

My first mods were new Hi/Lo beam bulbs, I replaced the factory with the HID look bulbs, Then I bought the clear corners, after that I was hooked and started to spend serious money I haven't stopped yet.
