Hey guys, I was just wondering if you guys heard of this problem or know what it might be?
Anyways I have a GTS and it seems that whenever I downshift from 5th to 4th no matter what speed I'm going at, I always hear some sort of grinding noise. I wonder if there's anything wrong with the transmission? Every other gear is fine as I don't hear anything. This only happens on the 4th gear. Also, seems a bit "stickier" to get into 4th than any other gear. Should I be worried and bring it back to Toyota for warranty or is this something that all of you have?
Just to answer some questions that might arrise:
1) I'm 100% sure I'm not grinding the gears by not pressing the clutch as it's fine in every other gear.
2) It doesn't matter how fast I'm going as I always hear it.
3) Only hear the *grinding* sound when I downshift as upshift from 3rd to 4th is normal.
Should I be worried guys?
