I accidently jumped my 2000 celica 2 1/2 car lengths through a very poor marked stop sign. My front end (judging by a lack of concrete in the area) landed across two lanes of road. I rear ended somebody and my front end was already getting fixed (it landed first) but I would really appreciate a picture of the front underside of someone's new celica so I can somewhat assess the damage. Celicas are tanks. It drives fine! also, any ideas of what potential damage (and possible guess of how much that damage would cost to be fixed) would be greatly appreciated. I have never experienced anything like that before. We were airborne. I'm suprised I didn't find a turd in my pants when we stopped.

the body kit was already jacked from rear ending somebody, and it was scraped. Underneath it looks scraped but okay. any idea of what could have happened (damage) would be greatly appreciated.

I would say get the car aligned. I have been airborne before, kinda scary. What a lot of people dont understand is it rides so smooth because you dont touch anything:) Get the car aligned and tell the to look for anything out of the ordinary. Also, check to make sure you didn't scrape like the oilpan or anything like that too.

thank you! Its nice to know I'm not the only one getting airborne. What was really freaky is the distance we traveled and the way we landed (nose first). Terrifying, really. I had completely backed off of the gas and was actually down out of cams and travelling much slower than I had been. I would have probably done some serious damage to myself or the car if I would have been going any faster because it didn't just feel like we got a lot of air; the point from which we took off is seriously two and a half car lengths from the three digs I put in the concrete. Again, scary as hell, I don't recommend it. Also, any more thoughts/opinions/advice would be great.

oh yeah, check your washer fluid container at the bottom. Mine had a large and in charge dent in it. I kinda landed the same way, luckily all cosmetic damage though :)
