It will look good bro.... I agree.. drop it at least 1 inch... It's a world of difference.
I suggest 225 40 18 to help fill the wheel well. about 1 inch taller than than stock but it is negligable.
1. Thicker tire can HELP preven bent rims (HELP not prevent okay?)
2. That size is common and is somewhat inexpensive..
Good luck mang!!

 do we REALLY have to go over this again...???????
i know mike has said many times how much his recent coilover suspension cost him, and joe has said many times also how much a strut/spring combo would cost. man, you need to learn how to read more closely...
and like i told you before, if you want to know about something, do a search and read. you can find out reviews (if our forum and us beating our thoughts into you arent enough) by doing a search and get prices and where to buy the parts from too. come on kid, do we really need to baby you?!?!?

Why the hell do you keep asking the same questions over and over again?
You say you have a very small budget but yet you want rims, tires and coilovers. All of which are fairly costly. Slow down. Save some money first and then get what you want when you are sure. You sound like an impulse buyer because you have some money sitting there and feel like you gotta buy something. Save some for college time. I wish I had, but I learned the hard way.

ok so i was at town fair tire today, and the assistant manager was helping me out, he said they would get me the rim for internet price, and throw in or me have to pay very little for nice low profile tires. alignment, mounting and all the other crap is free. im gonna have about 6 hundred by the end of this month and im trying to get enough to buy the stuff...... i just dont know what the hell to get springs or coilovers and u guys never said about how much was each including other things i would need such as struts.

OK greg....heres my deal for you......im gonna answer this ONE LAST TIME in response to this specific question im quoting above....
if you dare to ask us one more time you will seriously fawkin regret it come time for meets....youve TRULY pissed me off( along with EVRYONE else on this forum)to no end with your relentless repetition of questions, skimming of threads, and overall incompetance. so listen fawkin carefuly this time, im not gonna repeat myself little boy.
BOTH suspension setups will last you your dayum 5 years
springs will run ya $150 or so(1.5" drop). With springs we have all suggested buying struts at the same time, which will run yah about $350 give or take a $50. since we all know you dont have the ability to install this yourself, and none of us will do it for ya, thatll run ya about another $300 or so to get installed. ok thats done, no more about how much spring/struts cost. and weve all told ya this is your BEST bet for what your goin for with your car.
the tein coilover suspension is WAAAAAAY out of your league, but per my deal to you, here is the cost. ON sale right now you can get them for $1,150.00, thats the full kit. plus to get them installed will run ya anywhere from $300-$500+ depending on the shop. ok...DONE, no more asking bot prices on teins(which you have no idea what the difference is anyway  )
as far as rims go....for a DECENT set, (when i say decent i mean it, theyre not GOOD, just functional and look good) be prepared to spend a MINIMUM of $900 for rims AND tires, and thats being VERY cheap on both, like $100/tire, and and $125/rim.
ok greg...now you do the math yourself, im sure you can handle that(well im not really sure you can, but im gonna go out on a limb here) now STOP FAWKIN ASKIN US, START listening to us, or get the hell outa this forum.

y thank u! ok so im goin to talk to our family friend who owns a tire/rim store when i have the money cause he will be able to give me a deal on the rims and tires i want and they will probably install springs/struts for cheap as well. Im also gonna ask him about if he would like me to advertise for his store at shows and if then he would give me an even bigger discount.

First, I'd like to say that everyone that has replied to greg's thread has wasted precious minutes of their lives reading this and replying only to have him ask the same Q next week. I too am guilty of this crime. Secondly, I'd like to state that everyone's responses were 100% right, especially your last one Randy. You are my idol of the week. But since Greg won't read my post anyway, I suggest you get the 20inch chrome spinners. Do it, please.

Greg-
I'm also in Mass and I know a guy that does rims/tires and a ton of other stuff at reasonable prices. IF you really want 18's and you like the Konig's, get them :) I just bought 17" ADR Sokudo 10's and am in the process of getting some Nitto 450's (215/45/17) for a really good price. If you are seriously interested in doing rims/tires and possibly suspension, PM me and I'll give you this guys name/business number so you can ask him questions. He's honest and will make honest recommendations to you based on what you have (car and money wise). Like RddCelica said.. at LEAST 900 for decent rims and tires-save up!!
