well as of now my warranty covers about nothing, (100000 powertrain) I alreay had my tranny done... and they asid they wouldnt do it again, as if it's a one time thing... Im guessing that If my motor goes that will be covered... I bought my car used and it came with it...

Honestly I would say to save your money, it is not worth it. I had it on my car and about 4-5 dealerships would not fix problems with my car, just giving me the run around all the time. I told most of them in the end to **** off and sold the damn ****box :)

toyota's ext warranty is not worth it. i added it when i got my certified celi but when it came to problems they fought tooth and nail to deny me. i still received compensation but i had to work at getting accommodated. i ended up getting my pro-rated money applied to my loan. you need to understand that the warranty terms are very specific and most of the things that may go awry with our celi are covered under powertrain warranties and tsb's.

depends on what do you do with you car, in general Toyota backed warranties are good and they will fix things under TSB's no issues...

I just don't understand how people get screwed with warranty work coverage under an extended warranty. We used to own a 95 Camry which was a certified Toyota, we bought it with the platinum extended warranty. We had bought the car in the winter, when summer came and tried the A/C it wouldn't work, went to the dealer and they "claimed" the A/C was not covered. I went back home, read the ext. warranty coverage, saw it was covered, went back to the dealer showed it to them and got it covered. Entire A/C system replaced....about $2K worth of work, for $50 deductible

It's just a thing about knowing what you are covered for and what you're not.
