So what mods have you done over the last year?

Well, considering the meet is only 2 weeks away im just wondering how much has changed since last year. I did a lot of work since you guys last saw me. I got 18" giovanna chrome wheels wrapped in Nankang NS2s, got a V-Racing carbon fiber wing, installed an AEM intake, TRD header, and just put my APR strut bar in today. What did all you guys do?

why not? i've read alot of good reviews about it. but for some reason, i havent got the bushings yet... i got an email from the guy on the 9th saying they were going to be shipped that week. but i still havent got them yet. i'll give him a couple more days. but i want to wait til i put the clutch in to do the bushings. and i want to get skreemins motor mount too and put it all in at the same time. thats the plan anyways

about the bushings, it takes about 1 1/2 weeks for it to come in. I was JUST reading about the motor mount and debaiting if i should get it or not

If I remember correctly the front is at -1.2 degrees ...not overly agressive. But this is on a spyder so you may want to ask that question in the autox forum :).

it's not difficult. the hardest part are the back. it's a biiiitch to bring down the back struts. i installed my GC coilovers 2 1/2 years ago and i remember it being so damn annoying.

i'm going to install my tein coilovers (back) sometime this week, so i will tell u how the back is done correctly. the front is pretty easy and straight forward

BTW>....what kinda springs do u have now, cuz if u gonna do this ur self and u got stock springs, u need a spring compressor. u should be able to get 1 for about $20-25 or so

yea i got stock right now...if im gonna have to pay 20-25 i think im just gonna have my boy do it...hes a mechanic for mitsu and will just take any parts he needs from them...

And the knob Q, I dunno, it's slightly taller than stock. I'll let you know once we install the B&M shifter. (it sits too high on stock shifter)

With xmas I didn't had too much money to spend on the celica. Oh yeah i did buy the slightly used custom turbo kit i'm working on now. I just ordered a new Tial Wastegate and the EL Apexi boost gauge.

same here. what ss did you get? i just got the brass bushings from speed-source.net. i cant wait to install those baby's along with skreemins motor mount!!!! should make the ss 1000x's better from what i hear :D

well i had the TWM for more than a year now BUT i took it out sometime last winter and never put it back in yet

the '03 tails look 100% better and are arguably the best for the red

actually now that u mentioned it, i see what u mean. the red does not blend in with the red on the car

seriously

the clutch paks in the auto trannies are shady...the engine is just too powerful for the tranny...imagine going 70mph on the highway while in 5th and without warning, the car downshifts to 2nd at redline and wreaks havoc with the rev limiter...scary thought, but more than a few people had to face that reality :(
