the hood is from www.importfan.com ,its a c-wings hood..

the car is lowered :(.. its on Koni Yellows/Ground Controls.. its almost all the way lowered :( I going to finish dropping it tonight.. and the antenna is a power antenna so yes it will stay like that :)

Larry: Very, very nice.

I miss those cars so much. It's almost like I lost a brother (oh, wait ;)). The only things that I like about the new ones are the headlights and top half of the front end.

Im planning on staying with the stock wing and body for that matter.. I dont really like kits on the Eclipse..

as for the lowering bit.. well Im on ground controls and Konis and the GCs are almost bottomed out so I dont know why the car isnt lower..doesnt make sense.. I think its cuz I have my shocks set too stiff and it wont let the shock compress to let the spring compress.. btw here are a couple more pics of the car with the front mount I just put on and the engine bay with the new turbo before the exhaust manifold went back on.. :)

I think you need to lower it more though.. that's all :) Certain companies make some bad ass kits for those cars.. I'm thinking of the Blitz kit right now for that car..

I don't think you need to lower it more. It looks fine to me. i duno anything about eclipses, but i think you do need a kit. Get something that nobody has. nice rims! i'm gettin either moteggi mr7's or konig tantrums. tantrums only come in silver though right? bc i want white rims for my white car. gimme some rim advice...what should i get?

i think now that you lowered it as far as it goes, looks better, i guess i like that "almost no wheel gap" look to a car, not slammed to ****, but like 1 finger wheel gap, where the wheel well curves right around the tire...no gap, anyway, looks great man, still miss that red celi, i am partial to red celi's...but this eclipse is really starting to take shape and look great, cannot wait to see what new mods develop...body kit would be nice, but nothing crazy...take it easy, Tim

so far I havent had many problems to speak of.. my crank pulley fell apart the first week I had the car but the dealership fixed it in a few hours and gave me no hassle at all.. otherwise everythigns been fine so far.. (KNOCK ON WOOD)

btw..Ill take some engine bay shots soon..

Are you coming to the next meet in NJ? The only thing I would change is the front bumper looks like it is not straight on the lower part of the intrcooler. I also do not like the interior of the old or new Eclipses. But the outside looks great espically with the cf hood and Gunmetal MR7's.

the tach is down in the middle beacuse i broke the needle rest when I took the guages apart :)..

as for my floormats.. i just got them today, hence the reason there werent any in that picture.. there black and say GOT BOOST? on them :)

and the Mr7s were a little over 1000 with tires mounted and balanced..

well.. when I started shopping for another car... my hunt started with 3g (97/98 only..) eclipses (gst/gsx only..) but in all seriousness it was a better deal to finance a brand new car than used so I went with my celica :) .......just kind of wish I would have gotten my eclipse instead :d much better platform.. BUT I'm either considering going turbo in my celica or stop modding the celica and buy the new supra when they come out...... :ugh: :wiggle:

love your car larryd, and damn, i am in cleveland with my grandmother on a 28k connection, this page is a nightmare ;) anyway, i know you aren't really considering a body kit, but i think you should get one, just one that no one else has, so its even more a looker, for a stock car, your car is amazing, but i think you should make it unbelievable with a real different, maybe even custom kit, or wiiiiiiiiiidebody, even though wide body kits are usually in the thousands of dollars to do right. Keep up the great work, i miss your celi, it was what i wanted mine to look like, until i realized how expensive all thses mods get, but it def inspired me, best of luck, Tim
