Borken PS2 it won't read the disc. I believe it's a common problem. Didn't bother to fix it, because there were two others in the house. includes cables, no controllers. $75 shipped, obo. PM me.

:werd: it was a very common problem with the first gen ps2 bump on price though, if anyone cops it, it will cost only like 30 buck to replace the laser unit which is the defect

it's a common problem, really? :confused: I've had mine since the day of its release and I've never had a problem ::knocks on wood:: :D I guess I got lucky.

extremely common problem for the first 3 generations of ps2's .. it wasn't a laser problem.. its a voltage problem. ps2's play cd based disks and dvd based disks both need different voltages so there's a regulator that gets screwed up after awhile
