$200 for a Pro Solo Win (sorry Rick, they owe ya one)
$1000 for the Pro Solo Championship
$1000 for a National Championship
(must be driving A current model Toyota)

If you were registered in the 2001 Program you should have gotten your letter, if not it could still be in the mail. Anyway like every year you must re-register for the 2002 program and run the TRD and Toyota Die cut stickers at qualifying events (Pro's and the Nationals).

If you were not in the program in 2002 and want to join call or e-mail Phyllis (phyllis_schumann@toyota.com) at (714) 918-7492

TRD does give program participants a 25% discount on TRD and Toyota parts thru their "Grassroots Parts Program"

If you chose NOT to join and your leading the class at Nationals think about this. Say I'm in second, well a cone (just one) is worth $250 to you if I win the crown.

This should make Rick very happy, it should also make Tim Aro very happy, It should make every ES driver out there very mad.

A "current" model Toyota. Are they so short sighted that they forget increased demand (and prices) of used Toyotas translates into increased sales of new ones? Not to mention the fact if resale is higher they can charge more to begin with (already evident).

Well, maybe I'll register so Sally has a shot at some $$$ at the Petersburg Pro. I plan on getting spanked by the AWD cars, so I know I won't have a real good chance.

No Tour money???
Just requested our applications...
Scott, L1 is a tough row to hoe at the Pro's
I think Donna is going to start running Open instead.

Yeah, I'm disappointed at the lack of Tour money as well.

It's their money, their program.

It also pays more then the program they offered in 2000

I'm going to send a note along with our applications asking why there are no Tour contingencies. I suggest others do the same, after all tours usually have a bigget turnout than the pros.

hmmmmm could someone explain how this TRD cash program works and what it's all about? Karim might have to buy some hoosiers pull his intake out and move to g-stock if it could mean winning money and even if I got spanked well I'd still get some good discounts.

How the program works: (from memory, my packet is at home)

Contingency:
First you sign up and request the required decals. You will need 3 Toyota die cuts and 2 TRD stickers, theses are free and required to be on the car at qualifying events (Pro Solo, National Championship). One Toyota and TRD on each side and one Toyota on the nose/hood or the car. If you win a Pro Solo or the National Championship you submit a claim form to TRD with a copy of the events results and they will cut you a check (it's taxable income)

Grass Roots Parts Program: (TRD and Toyota parts only)
You call Fred at TRD (the number to call is in the packet) get a quote or just order parts. Registered drivers get a 25% discount (off retail price) plus they will break up kits for us. Case in point... Last year I was running TRD Sportivo front struts (Tokico Blues), these units were sold only to the general public in the Sportivo kit "no exceptions". I paid $75 for each strut and they were shipped to me from Japan.

Last time I checked
TRD Standard exhaust (for a GT) = $450
TRD Brake Pads = $46
If you spend a lot of time you can find them cheaper but how much value do you put on your time.

NX or anyone,

Do you happen to know what the die cuts and stickers look like? Last year I bought some from the local dealership and I'm hoping they are the same.

Thanks for sharing,
-Alan

The ones I have just sat Toyota in 3" letters. The TRD ones look like the ones on my car below.

Since you need them fast Call TRD and ask them put a rush on them.
