Cold Air Intake, Exhaust, Headers, underpulley...
I think these are the basic upgrades that will increase your hp

Cold Air 200-240$ Exhaust 400-500$ Headers 370-400$ Underdrive Pulleys 400$ If you have the money the sky is the limit. There are plenty of other engine mods you could perform, such as Higher compression pistons etc.

AEM Underdrive Pully is about 70$. Unorthodox crankpully set will run you more.
Newbie here
whats an underdrive pulley? what does it do?
can i mod it on an automatic?
you can laugh at me now

Aem give you an oversized pulley so to decrease the amount of power your engine has to put to the pulley to make electricity for your accessories. According to everyone I can talk to the AEM doesn't really give you any real power. The Unorthodox Pulleys give you three pulleys one underdrive and the rest lightened. They are supposed to give you about 3-4 hp.

Can't he just get a turbo kit and install it and then he can get the extra power needed. Tell me if this is possible cause i am a newbie too and am seeing if this is a possibility and correct me if i am wrong.

It is possible but two things stand in his way. First there are no kits out there yet So he would have to create his own until one of the kits in development is out. Second money. He could create his own kit but it would be expensive at this stage. Most of the cost is going to come in from building a manifold for the turbo. Then he should know quite a bit about turbos if he is going to design one himself. If he gets a shop to design one you are talking a bit more money :) Soon I hope West Covina's kit will be out and it will be a bit easier.

I've think that F-Max has a turbo kit for Celica's. It's not that expensive that is what i have been hearing. Check it out !!.

I have this product called a Venom 400. What it is suppose to do is be a chip that reroutes fuel and exaust from the less performance style chip in the celica. This new chip allows less econmic fuel but more power. I personally have found a difference from havin the chip on and racing people at lights. I am sorry to say i have no actual tests to prove it. But it is "suppose" to give 25% hp boost after all your mods. So supposibly i am at 185 hp. After i do my cai i "supposibly" will be at 200+. Now i bet it isn't actually doing that much but for the $400 i spent on it. It seems to be best bang for buck.
Hope this helps

there is a differance between flywheel HP and wheel HP. when a car is advertized they use the HP rating to the flywheel which is connected to the engine. from the flywheel to the wheels there is a loss of hp because it has to move other parts like axles and stuff so the gt in reality has about 125 hp stock to the wheels thats yuur actual HP that moves the car.

The truth hurts?
Anyways, theres no way that thing will give you 25% power increase no matter how you calculate it. Do you believe everything that the manufacture claims?
