ya my uncle has driven once or twice across the country before... with his big sheep dog after he graduated college and was back from the serivces.

i would like to do this one day... i'm used to being in cars for long times.... driven down to and bckf from florida 5 times... 6th time this april, and have driven to and back a couple times to ohio cause my brother goes to college there.

I meant I'm gonna be there in a week. Actually when my dad did it back in the day he said it took almost a week to get there from NY. Long story short, road trip with 2 guys, got there then ran outta money, car got wrecked, 2 guys wussed out called parents to bail em, and my dad worked as a mechanic for 2 months to pay his way back home. Priceless.

Let me tell you. New York is one long ass state. I made it all the way to the end of New York, got a hotel room, and decided I would sleep for a few hours. I slept, but when I woke up I was bored as hell, and I just kept thinking about how long the drive is going to be. My desire was completely gone. Going alone is not the way to go at all. It's to damn far to drive by yourself. So I headed back, and got home around 4am. I went just about 500 miles. I think Florida would of been a smarter plan. One day down isn't that bad of a drive.
I started thinking, I called my buddy who has done this trip. He said California is a 3 day trip non stop. It's to damn far to do alone.
I took the mass pike all the way through Mass, and through New York. I was just shy of Buffalo.

I did a nonstop drive to Chicago once. Spur of the moment thing. Took 16 hrs nonstop to get there. Driving back was crazy. I was doozing off and almost ended up in a guard rail. Man, I was dumb back in my college days.

Yeah, even after I had slept I started to doze off in my car on the way back. I was almost on 146 when a mass staty pulled up next to me and gave me the light. Damn that's a bright light.

Nope. I had gone by him before at about 80mph. He didn't do anything. But a short while later I noticed a car raceing up on my ass. I was in the high speed lane. What other lane would I be in.
Yeah so he pulled up on the right side of my car. And gave me the spot light. He sat with me for a bit with that light on and then zoomed away. That was after I slowed down to 65. I then pulled into the next lane, and he was on his merry way.

i love when they are nice like that. that same thing happened to me but i was going over 80. he caught up to me about 2 miles down the highway and pointed at his speedo, so i dropped to 65 and then he took off

:werd: I just asked my dad and he said he did it in 3 days, non stop. Makes sense because I got to Florida in less than 20 hours and it's a 1500+ mile trip.

I actually went and booked a vacation to Florida once and offered the other ticket for free to my friends. And they all used the excuse, I can't get the time off, I have to work. It was a free trip! I figured one of them would of went. But it worked out even better in the end. I was able to get a girl "friend" to go. And it was sex sex sex once we got there. Best thing is, we still stayed friends, when we got back. It was just friends, "now with benefits".

Im not sure about that movie hidalgo. It kinda reminds me of the mummy. I just watched dawn of the dead. That movie wont win any awards for effects. haha. It did have a few funny parts though. I would give it a 7 out of 10.

watch Mischief 3000. guys from DTMpower.net made a documentary on this from NYC to Hollywood. and then Mischief Destroy is from LA to Miami. i love those dvd's!

and now they are releasing Mischief Invasion. In this vid they are in Europe for the Cannonball Europe Run. It started in the UK and went on through Spain, France, Africa and back to the UK in only 5 days. pretty sick if you ask me
