One of the people who worked at the body shop that painted my celica had a hoda del sol that he was trying to sell. It had a cool paint scheme that he did himself, a really aggressive body kit, big spoiler, big wheels, lots of gauges in the intereor, lowered, and it was honestly really mean and cool looking. I asked him about it and found out that other than appearance mods it was an addmitably "all show no go" completely stock car other than an exhaust. I have seen the car driving around for the last couple of weeks by whoever bought it from him. They always drive really agressive, darting in and out of traffic, making really hard lane changes, and basically acting like a street warrior in his "ultra fast street machine".

The other day I lined up against him at a red and gave him a little rev with my car to see what he would do. Of course, he jumped all over the opportunity to show off, thinking that he would beat me badly, and began reving back like a mad man. I just left the car in drive and didn't power brake or anything and I still got a huge jump on him from the line and he just kept losing ground the whole race. When I finally shut down he flew by me and flipped me off. What a joke! The sad thing is that my celica has been in storage in my garage for the winter for the last couple of weeks. I wasted him with my winter beater which is a 1987 mercury grand marquis with 160,000 miles on it! Sure, he looks cool darting around old ladies in traffic, but he didn't look very cool when he was losing a race to my old winter beater!

Maby I'll make this my new hobby for the winter. I'll drive around and embarass all the "all show, no go" imports in my area with my rice stomping mercury.
:D
