i dont take any pills but im debating it cuz i have excess body water covering my six pack and it bothers me cuz i wanna get rid of it and dont know how....any suggestions on supplements?
I did the Animal Pak/Animal mStak/Cell-Tech Creatine/Pinnacle Juiced Whey Protein w/Myostatin Blockers for 3 weeks. 10lbs of muscle. Lifting 5x/week. Incredible.
Right now I'm just on the Animal Pak and the protein.
I take 2 scoops of protein on lifting days (M/W/F) and one scoop on running days (T/Th/Sa)
I'd say the Animal Pak is one of the best supplements you can possibly take. It helps recover and keeps your joints nice and strong, keeps everything working great so you can wring out the best from yourself.
The Animal mStak and creatine are enhancers, they just make you a beast in the gym, give you tons of energy and endurance, and really aid recovery so you can train superintense.

- Vitamin World Iron-Free Time Released MultiVitamin
- CVS Glucosamine & Condroitin Plus MSM (bad knees from sports)
- if you wanna count Protein for workout, Detour/JoyRide Protein bars and Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein shake mix

I was taking creatine pills from GNC. I also took creatine by MuscleTech.

right now i'm eating the protein bars, protein shakes, taking gluatamine, potassium, multi-vitamin.
i've gotta find some good creatine. I had been taking the creatine chewable tablets, but I would get too sick from it.

I take the worldwide pure protein ones. They've got like 30 grams of protein and not that many carbs.

try Next Protein's Detour/One Way/U-Turn/Joy Ride bars if you wanna be adventurous...hella delicious...also 30g protein with few carbs
yes, water is an integral part of working out, but drinking a gallon of water in between lifting and running 5 miles = bad news

i drink 2 liters of water a day, 1 liter between 7 and 4 and another during my 1.25 hour workout, and i keep my ingestion to one or 2 gulps...taking long chugging is where you'll run into problems, thas all i'm sayin

where do you get them, and how much?? The worldwide ones have some good protein and taste pretty good too, but $1.69 each??? If I can find a cheaper alternative, then I'll look into it.

Creatine is a waste of money. All the built up is just water...If anything take zinc and amino acids. Other than that, eat more salmon and steak. You'll get more props from people when they find out that you aren't a walking chemistry set. ;)

If you're eating enough protein everyday there shouldn't be any need to supplement amino acids. I agree with the salmon, but would recommend chicken & tuna over steak.
And creatine is NOT a waste of money. Yes, some of the increased size is due to water retention, but it also greatly helps in protein synthesis which means quicker recovery rates...

Salmon, steak, chicken breast, tuna, peanuts...they are all good. To me, creatine is a waste of money, the only thing that I think creatine did for me 4 years ago is give me a second wave at the gym. If a person is dedicated and hits the gym 3 times a week, there should be enough time to recover unlike the people who hit the gym 3 times a month and have to go through the soreness. Muscles have memory, one will recover faster if consitent.

carbs are good
they give you energy
SIMPLE carbs like sugars and whitebread are no good.
Stick to cherrios and wheat bread.
