Ah, there's no place like home. :)

Anyway, while the forum was down my car's CEL came on. Supposedly the rev sensor went bad. Anyone have an idea as to what it actually does, as the mechanic who gave me the paperwork didn't really explain it to me? (It was under warranty anyway)

Yup, that's what I was told...a revolution sensor. I think they meant transmission sensor (is it the same???). It says here on the invoice that a transmission sensor was ordered and installed. "Test drove vehicle to teach computer shift patterns."
