the season has started (AutoX)

today as i was going home from work around 9am, i saw that BMW and SCCA had a small autoX event going on at the coliseum. so after getting about 4hrs sleep, i head over to the coliseum at around 1-1.30pm

i think i saw TW00SI (rico??) car but i was not too sure. here are some pics i took at the coliseum

I was there for a while. It was pretty nice. I wanted to run so bad hahaha. The dude in the celi whipped it around the track nice, and the guy in the white evo was ****in drifting around the turns. hahaaha looked phat. There were so many cars out today it was rediculous. Literally hundreds of cars all over the colliseum area. A lot of people from the tobey beach thing ended up in the area too after that ended. Much fun much fun.

Mike, that would be Jeff Hurst in the celica that you saw. I went to play bbal at 10am. Now I'm just sore...I'm getting old. I will be autoxing next Sunday at the meadowlands.

do you know where i can find the autoX dates?? what time does most events start?? what dates will you be attending the coliseum?? this way i can run on the same days u run and watch/learn on the rest of the other coliseum days.

i get off work at 9am (i work over night), so the days i run i will have to tell my job that i'm leaving early and get some sleep b4 hand. the days i don't run i'll be there at the coliseum at around 1pm

BTW...i might come to the meadowlands next week. is it on saturday or sunday??

dunno bout Mass...but down here, 4 weekends in a row

this weekend at E-town, the 10th at E-town, 17th at Nassau Coliseum, and the 24th at E-town

i'll do the 10th, 17th, and maybe 24th

I have a big dilemma. i was called back by me previous job and offered $1200 (after taxes) more a month BUT if i take it, my weekends are completely shot.

so i'm wonding if i should take that extra $1200 in my hand or hould i keep my current job and attend autoX events pretty much every week........i'm really really torn

do both...tell the dude it's going to take you about a month to switch jobs :D

Work is work, money is money...but one thing is for sure, you have to have fun in life and working for that money isn't everything. Do what will make you happy. But sometimes, you do have to of the long run and no one knows your situation.
