Everyone, check this out. I was surfing through the Toyota.com future vehicles section and they just recently added the Ultimate Celica. Not sure why bu I think Toyota is up to something BIG we yet dont know. Hopefully this car will be released.

Ultimate Celica


You might say it's made to fly: Its exhaust manifolds are made out of a nickel-based alloy used in jet engines. Its engine is a 500-horsepower monster derived from Toyota's championship-winning IMSA GTP race cars. And three-hundred-forty lb.-ft. of torque whines through a rally-inspired 4-wheel-drive system on Bilstein struts and springs. With all that ruckus going on, you need a 4-point racing harness to hold you in, and 19-inch racing wheels and tires to hold the road. But only one thing to hold your own: The Ultimate Celica. Cleared for takeoff.

that RSC looks like something straight out of the movies. Something they they would use to drive on the moon

um,... that car (ultimate celica) has been around FOREVER. I remember that car from more than 2 years ago. Sorry man

I dont know, the specs sound nice but it looks like it has a bird beak.

Toyota is NOT up to something big. It is just some marketing for the company about their concept cars. By the way, the Ultimate Celica costs in excess of $100,000 USD.

500hp and it only runs the 1/4 in 13.3@108 mph ???

it doesnt really run the 1/4 in that time ... since that would denote actually having traction... it more like hovers the 1/4 in that time.

MY Bad, i wasnt trying to insult you or anything. But yah, i doubt that they're doing anything. Its just to show off basically, maybe attract a few more buyers.

I thought it cost Rod Millen around $500k to build. Talk about excess!

I have to agree with that. I read in the magazines that it cost 500,000 dollars.

read the little blurb on the very bottom of the page in small print. None of those things are gonna see production according to it.
