just got another speeding ticket friday night and this is my second one in 4 months. i havent taken traffic school for my other ticket yet but ive heard rumors that theres a way that might work for you not to recieve a point on your insurance.
1.) pay more than what the fine is? so the case will not be closed when they send you a check for the amount you over paid. (but dont cash the check)
2.) take traffic school and some way it'll cancle out both points?
this is just what ive heard and was wondering if this is true? anyone tried this yet?
one other thing, anyone have a estimate on how much my insurance will increase? i have two way full coverage. thanks everyone.

Hahahaha where did you hear these things.
Maybe back in the early 80's when they do not use computer to record things, it is hard to outsmart them because they are backed up with computer system.
Try http://www.ticketassassin.com/fight.html (not sure singular or plural if singular does not work try www.ticketassasins.com ) These people teach you proven technique in getting out of a ticket.

well i did the overpay ticket thing in april of 2001 after i got the ticket, insurance company has yet to find out.....(fingers crossed, knock on wood.) but if they find out now it won't matter cause its been 3 years so the points are off my license now anyways. i also think it depends on what state you get it in.
i woulda have a sh!tload of points on my license if it weren't for traffic lawyers....i pay them about $80 no court, no fines, no traffic school, no points...i love FL

the driving school you can only take once every 3 years. at least in NC. Get a lawyer. I had my 5th ticket, only had one on my record. cost me 300$ but it was well worth it. he got it dropped and never went to my insurance
