Hi, i missed the site

Question........ is altitude a strong factor when it comes to car performance? When i moved to Colorado my Civic felt heavier
than it did in Texas, guess cuz the air is thinner up here.
Is it me or is this a factor? My GTS feels heavier than I thought
it would be. Thanks for the feedback

Wouldn't it feel lighter because there is less pressure acting on it?

Without going into all the physics involved (which I couldn't do anyway) suffice it to say, less oxygen=less horsepower.

Yep, when we first moved from Colorado to the East Coast we had a little Olds Quad-4 with a 5 speed. It was like driving a completely different car at sea level. Don't wait to move, just take a road trip. :)
