I just bought a 04 Celica GT. I want to change the color of the a-pillars to match the color of the dash. Is there a a-pillar I can buy that is EXACTLY like the stock one except the color matches the dash color? I would rather not paint/dye them.

Take a small interior piece like a kick panel to a paint shop and see if they can match the color and texture of the paint. If you use regular glossy paint, it will look cheap (way too shiny), and I think matte would be a bit too flat to use. I still have no clue as to why Toyota used such a light color for the A pillars and left the B and C the same dark color as the rest of the plastics.

So...is there a replacement part available or do I have to paint the A-pillars??
CeliKill 180: Why do you not recomend painting the A-pillars?

u can pop them off they are just connected by some clips, and i just dont see painting the pillars as tasteful cosmetic change, but everyone has thier own opinions.

What do you mean like they "were"? I have an '01. Did they stop matching the pillars to the dash color?

It stands out more because the dash is a darker gray than previous years. The other pillars are the same color as the rest of the plastics.
