Can you guys get Skylines?? There are tons here for 9k, imports with jap spec on them, really low mileage due to the high taxing in Japan, and they are amazing factory condition.....
Im in the UK by the way!!!

I think its roughly about $16,000. I have heard a story that in certain states of the US like LA/Cali they are banned due to thier high output and emissions???

The other thing to remember is gas here is sooooooo expensive!!! A tank full on my vvti 190 (GTS) will cost about $50. My insurace on it because its tuned is $1450 and roadtax is $300 and because I live in London you get charged a toll of $9 EVERY time you want to go into central London.
To run a skyline here is like digging a hole and then throwing all your hard earned cash in to it. Then once you have done that you dig another hole right next to it and fill that with all your credit cards and then after that............you get the picture?

While I've heard a few reliability issues with the Mustang I have never heard a damned think about the Chevy Camaro.
It has an LS1 engine in it, ya know, the vette engine?
That thing is meant to last forever, cuz collectors keep their vettes forever. 100,000 miles is a breakin period for those things.
My uncles '71 vette has like a billion miles and still drives amazing (admittedly, he really takes care of it).
And I was looking into getting a corvette, and talked to this guy who had a Grand Sport. He hooked me up with a ton of websites documenting the toughness and durability of corvette engines.
Finally, my girlfriend's dad had a Camaro - never had a single problem with it until he flipped it on a winding road in Sicily.

Camaros are notorious for their poor quality. Granted they have very high HP/$$ ratio but the quality you get is sub par.
The engine is not the only component of a car . . .
