It'll work fine, but you need to remove all the seals/gaskets/grommets and hoses from the calipers before it gets powdercoated. Basically anything that isn't metal has to go.

so that means ill need to buy new seals/gaskets/grommets when i put them back together and back on the pie

2 bolts on each end of the caliper on the inner side. Hope you know how to bleed the brake lines after reinstalling the caliper :D

If not, you can learn from here ...

i've taken my caliper out to resurface my rotor, BUT i've never completely taken them off. perhaps i should do this (powder coating the calipers) when installing my new rotors in a week or 2

BTW....any1 taken the back calipers off?? what's the difference??

you can try to see if anyone has an old set of calipers, or if there is a junk/ salvage yard around you so you can get an extra set and have them powder coated, and you do not have any down time with your car
