Pros and cons of buying already hooked up used cars...

Pro: It's cheaper then buying the car stock, and then doing all of the modifications.

Con: More likely than not the car has been driven hard.

plus i think its alot of fun doing the work yerself.. and see the car change from stock to your vision of how it looks best

I agree. I couldn't stand it if people came up to me and said, "Hey isn't that so and so's old car?" That would get old. I like people to say, "Hey that's Jose's tight ass ride." ;)

My friend bought a fixed up 300zx without loooking over it thoroughly and turns out the thing is the most hacked piece of crap. He blows fuses every day cuz the old guy ****ed around with everything on the car including the electrical system. The turbos are dying too. It shoulndt be this way, but I can keep up with him in my GT-S cuz it's so ****ed.

Another thing about doing the mods urself is that you enjoy them more and you get to notice the little differences each mod makes.

Pro's of course are going to be the savings on mods.

The biggest problem with buying a modded car is the extreme wear and tear damage from driving hard may not be anything visible. If don't have enough knowledge in the car you're buying you won't be able to pick out the tell tail signs associated with a car that may not be long for this world.

Pro's- Its cheaper then purchasing the car then buying all the mods. Youll also avoid the headaces of installs and finding parts.

Cons- With after market parts there come problems. If they were not installed correctly then major problem can occur.

On a side note: I know of a few people who has bought car that were lightly moded and they were happy. If you do get one buy a car that has been babied. Research the parts that have been modified for any problem before you get into something. Person has bout all the best part availabe for the car. lates
