hp increase with short ram?

How much of an increase in hp does short ram intake give?
And when does it kick in? low end or above 4k?

it varies throughout the powerband, but a short ram will give you a 5-8 HP increase

anyone got a injen shortram and hears a rattle noise when you start your car and leave it there for like 5 min...then it just goes away?
