i was thinking about getting this kit and just wanted some info/feedback on this kit. do you 100% like this kit? any regrets? problems? how far down does it lower your car? can i pass over speed bumps with this set up? 2" drop springs, WW kit, and some 17" wheels. i have to pass over speed bumps 18 times a day. whats your over all review of this kit? thumbs up/down:cool:

Awsome kit! Got a great deal through New Way Autosports. Quality, paint job and installation is top notch:). I've got this set up with 17" wheels and my car is not lowered. It definately makes your car appear to be lowered just alittle due to the fact the kit sits a tad below stock sides. I have lots of speed bumps in my area, kit does not scrape at all. Hope that helps.

I have the WW Kit with the V-line spoiler and I love it. You have to get it with the V-Line spoiler though. Thats makes it look even tighter. I have 17's also with V-Spec coilovers and I have never scraped. It is dropped 1.5" front and back. No problems.

if he slams that thing with GC coilovers or teins plus some new rims(bigger) that car would look TOTALLY different.
i have the same kit and my car looks different from his.
are you going to lower it?

Personafied, how's the VIS V-spec Coilovers....Is it bouncy or comfortable? Also can raise your car to stock height with them. thanks.

I have no clue how to post pics. I dont have a digital camera either. I wish I knew how.
Wolf, V-Specs are pretty nice. Its not as bouncy as you think it is really nice and smooth...I would definitly recommend it to people. I can raise it up to a little higher than stock also.

Not right now. If I do, I'm going with TRD springs. I'll keep the 17" wheels too.

I'm w/ you Bat. I think people get too obsessed with having slammed rides w/ out much improvement to suspension or aesthetics. Your car would probably look a little better w/ springs, but like u said, the kit helps already - i.e. not a huge priority. When I do lower my car, and it's not a top priority, I will go TRD too. I think that the number one key to cosmetic modifications is MODERATION.

if i ever scrape together enough money to get a kit, i wont lower it. Bat's car looks good enough without new springs... u dont wanna damage your body kit that cost u your hard-earned dollars... especially in the city, bad roads and road debris will DESTROY the kit... so when i get money for kit, i'll get 17" 's and that will be the end of it.... any thoughts? i've seen pics of lowered ww kit, and i must say i like the stock height better.. difference is too little for the casual observer to notice, and u dont scrape.... just my opinion

I agree with you Fried Rice. To each his own. Look at id242 and Coolmikelu's cars, they aren't lowered at all, they look fine. One of the issue's people have with stock height is the wheel gap that shows.

I pretty much have what your going to get bodykit wise.
with a 2 inch drop, I'd suggest taking dip's on a angle. That goes the same for speed humps and steep drive ways as well. I have just over a upright coke can height clearance ,with the side skirts (Roughly 1.5 inch lowered overall). Sometimes the front lip does get scraped on dips and high cemment parking space blocks.
I've only seen the pics from the net of the WW kit, but they copied the front lip and rear valance pretty well. But the genuine TRD side skirts are still one I rather get. IMO

I don't have the patience to slow down almost to a complete stop going at an angle mind you, just to get over a speed bump or dip:yawning, I want to get to my destination fast. I will agree with you on the TRD sideskirts. They are noticably different from the WWest ones. The TRD flare out more, not as flat looking.

I had to customize my rear for the TRM exaust, the hole is too small for the canister...but other than that it is all good.

lovin' my WW kit.

why did you need to customize the rear valence???
larry, blackgt, an a few others have that exhaust and they haven't modified there valence.
larrys is rmm but they are all pretty similar.
im getting that exhaust this week and want to make sure i dont need to do anthing when it get it.

Wolf, I snagged them from Yota_racer. He decided he wanted something else so I bought them from him. But you can probably go to VIS website...I think I saw them for $299.

My rating of the WW kit.........8 of 10.
Things may have changed a little since I got the kit (first batch off the line).
My front lip isn't perfect. The middle section isn't wide enough, leaving small gaps on each side. It doesn't perfectly fit the front of the car either. This is true with 2 installs, so I know I didn't mess it up the first time.
The rear doesn't fit perfect around the vertical pieces of the black bumper piece. The center-to-center spacing is off, little too wide.
The side skirts rub in the doorsills. Doesn't bother me much, but it has rubbed the paint off the SS and doesn't look so great.
As for lowering, I was at stock ride height for a year with the kit, and I've been on TRD springs for 5 months now. The diff is very little. You have to take the bumps slow with that front lip anyway.
IMO, the TRD drop is perfect with any kit. Doesn't "slam" the car, increases performance (spring rate) and it is still comfortable.
If you want true performance though, you won't want the progressive springs. I wanted the compromise, comfort and performance.

does the ww kit come prepped or unprepped? is the spoiler urethane also like the kit? how much is too much to pay for this kit?

The kit is the same, urethane, the wing is fiberglass. I got my kit painted by WWest for a good price through New Way Autosports.

The kit is unprepped, the reason it will cost you more to paint it (if the guy knows what he's in for).
They had to paint mine twice because they got pitting holes from the urethane the first time.
urethane, but not of the highest quality.
