I've been shopping around lately for a new celi but I'd prefer to have a 01 instead of a 02 if possible. I've come to this conclusion after reading some of the posts on this forum and elsewhere. Problem is, I can only find one 2001 6spd GTS in my immediate area and yep it's a demo with 900kms/500 miles. I know for a fact that this car has probably had the livin' **** driven out of it up to this point. Hey I'm guilty of it too, it's fun to drive a dealer demo car hard right? Which begs the question, since the proper break in hasn't been followed, how harmful is this to the engine? Any other issues to think about? What would you guys recommend? Yes, maybe or definitely not?? The car I mentioned is a fully loaded 6spd GTS with moonroof but no leather interior (is this pkg possible?). Oh yeah and they're asking $30,900 Cdn for it but the price is presumably still negotiable... Give me opinons everybody!!!

How much money is that in US dollars, sorry not that knowledgable...

But I gotta say....... NO!!!! don't do it..... I bought my car used and ever since I have always been wondering if the person who previously owned it took care of it and all the little things I noticed wrong about it were caused by them.... a car driven hard for all its premature life is really bad for the engine.. I don't know about you but I will always wonder owning a car like that whether I shouldn't have gotten it... wait out for a new one or get a used one you know was treated better......

buy it and blow the engine within a week and its as good as new when you get it back.
j/k by the way unless you want to take the chance
