damn door won't close right

the other day i was driving and it sounded like my door was open. I opened it and closed it it was still there. i went to roll my window down and as soon as i did the window made a pop noise it does it everytime i close the door with the window rolled up.
to get it to stop i have to roll my window down a little bit, close the door and the roll the window back up for it not to make the noise or for the window not to pop. WHAT the HELL is the problem? is the window coming of the track or what?? Damn always something new!!!! :bang:

i have the same exact thing...

my friends WRX does the same thing...

i think it has something to do with the plastic... i wonder what it is...

it doesn't harm anything though... not that i know of

check the rubber molding along the top of the car part of the door, mine came out and I just had to stick it back in (kinda forcefully) and no more sound:)

i had the same problem. what i had was that the window on the door was nicking the black plastic piece. when i closed the door, sometimes it would close and sometimes it wouldn't causing the hissing road sound. rolled the window down and then back up and it was gone.

took it to the dealer and they replaced the piece and adjusted the window so that it would fit/close better. no more problems.
