I was planning on purchasing an S-AFC to get some more power out of my celica. And i was just wondering:
How hard is it to install; are there any on-line guides that i can reference?
How hard is it to tune; are there any on-line guides to help me?
Thanks

00BlackGT-S, you do not have to drill through the fire wall to install the S-AFC, you can go through the existing hole that all the other engine bay wires go through to get inside the car.
There are no online guides to help you tune the S-AFC that I know of, but the instructions that come with it are extremely good because they explain what every thing does pretty well. That's probably why no one has written anything up for it.

Check with Acilec cuz hes doing the install on his Celi. As far as tuning goes, after you install it, you need to put it on a Dyno. There you could dial it in right. Do you run boost, like a supercharger, turbo, or NOS? Bcuz if you do, be very careful with the SAFC as you can really screw up your engine if you don't get it tuned right. L8r

You can still use the SAFC without boost, just dont expect to get alot more power out of it. I know peep with boost that have to run the SAFC to keep from detonating. SAFC aren't cheap, so you might be better off spending the $$$ on something else to go fast.

00BlackGT-S, my opinion is that you should still get the S-AFC. I'm not running boost or NOS on my car yet, but I still have one. It won't give you a huge gain, but it will give you a noticable one. The main reason I think you should get it is because it is a powerful tuning tool that you can use for any mod you make to your car. So if you ever do add boost, NOS, cams, or do some headwork, the S-AFC will come in handy to get the most out of them.
