friend of mine just got a nice 1992 Celica GT-S.. This weekend we are going to be changing all the fluids in it..
im quite familiar with cars, ive done all kinds of maintence stuff to my Nissan Z31.
now, to drain/fill the transaxle, how much fluid do i need? we are going to be putting in fully synthetic in everything possible, so i need to know:
1) what weight is recommended for the 5 speed transaxle, and how much do we need to get?
2) what is the recommended fluid for the power steering system? for my Z31 it is dexron/mercon... in other words, ATF. I also need to know the best way to drain it.. i was just going to remove the feeder line from the pump and pump the old fluid out - refill.
3) anything i need to look for, common problems? the engine has approxamatly 150k on it.. new clutch, new t-belt.
thanks for all your help, whoever may respond!!
