If it's the video I have on my computer, it's not that great. Get's kind of suspensfull when the Elise gets close but then the vette just pulls away in that long straight.

Yep gettin long in the tooth that one.

I guess it demonstrates the difference in car philosohy. Light n nimble v muscle. The Elise driver got a little too excited near the end which is when mistakes happen though. Still great to see the Vette disappear down the straights and thats coming from a Lotus fan as I've owned two Elise' previously.

The Exige does have very short gearing so top speed is limited somewhat.

firstly, muscle cars are slow in Nurburgring,

secondly, that elise could be any model, but it looks like the earlier 140bhp models, although it doesn't sound very stock. Also the guy doesn't seem to be pushing that hard.

Yeah the Vette Owned that damn elise, especially on that one straightaway where he just disappeared. I mean damn. I don't think the guy in the Elise though was pushing it near as hard as he could, maybe he was but I didn't get that from watchingthe video.
