Hello everyone,
I just installed my Injen CAI and I had a blue plug left over?? Is this right? I drove about 45 minutes home without a cel but I am just paranoid and the directions sucked A$$.

What kind of blue plug are you talking about.
If its a racing division CAI then there should be a little rubberized cap that goes over a stud on the throttle body. A hose comes off of there during the install and isn't replaced by one of the new hoses.
Check that first

the blue plug is supposed to be not used. the blue electrical plug that is. not a hose, but a PLUG plug .:reading
the blue electrical plug used to go to the bottom of the stock airbox and it was used for the butterfly valve..it is no longer used when you add a CAI..

Thanks for the replies everyone. Glad to know I gig it right. While it is freshin my mind I am going to work on writing up an install that will be better than Injen's. It might be a while before I can get pictures up, but I will get better written instructions at least put together rather quickly.
