The one on the grass looks like your standard "spectra blue mica" to me. same color as on the US spec celica's.

The 3rd pic is carbon blue.

Sure the front lip is about 1,500 sides are about 1,500 and the rear is about that also :D

Prices refer to original JDM TRD Sports M ones right? Gosh... I didn't know they cost an arm and a leg...

My dealership had a car that same color. Its too dark to be spec blue. Its too blue to be carbon blue. Its more of a navy type of blue. Very rare.

hmm... if they have spec bllue in japan, how come they don't have parts that come in that color for it!

i.e. eyelids, wheel arches... etc.... they all come prepainted in the other toyota colors!!

The White one is so sweet!!! I love the simplicity of the sides, front lip and the bumper.....I wish those parts were so readily available.

ohh well, go spec blue!!! :thumbup: :D Because the only Celica available in Spec blue over in Japan is the TRD Sports Modellista. There fore there is no need for optional body kits, flares and all that extra BS. The TRD M is more about function than fashion.

that is the kit i would rock i think most kits for our cars are too overdone i like it clean and simple.

Are you guys sure its spectra blue or carbon blue??? because when you really look at the first pic...theres a glare of purple in it.

The blue wouldn't come out as much as it does in those pics, and it would be a paler shade. Under the correct lighting, even our Spec Blue can have a purplish look. :)

Man we need more simple body kits with sideskirts and lips like the TRD Sports M. The only simple lip that is easy to get is the WW/Elegant lip. The Postert lip is kind of like that, but simple sideskirts are so god damn hard to find. To any of you body kit companies out there, hint hint.

I'm not sure if it has a rear valence, though. PilgrimX is trying to get some prices on it. The sideskirts are very nice, too.

toyota made the sports modellista in ALL factory colors in japan for the early models (so no carbon blue or the new silver introduced for 2003+ models), you just havent seen them all probably because not everyone takes pictures and puts it on the web.
for whatever reason, toyota used the spec blue mica as the posterchild for the sports m. it's not a special color. like others in the thread said, it's all about lighting. technically these pieces are not an arm and a leg as everyone makes them out to be. theyre just another overpriced factory part. it lists for practically the same as the other TRD aerokit pieces...but unfortunately theyre harder to get because it was supposed to be exclusive and now toyota dealerships are cracking down on selling them to just anyone. but if you can get connections...:naughty:

Nope! The sports M comes in White and black as well. The Spec Blue sports M is the most special of all because the J-spec celica does not come in that kind of blue. Only in the the States, New Zealand and Aust will celica comes with Spec blue trim.

Being Sports M is unique ..... but being a spec blue J-spec Sports M is more rare and unique.

Heee ... that's why I own one!!! :)

Are you sure about that? If that were the case then it would come in Carbon blue as an option because that color was available in Japan.

my bad, youre absolutely right. i had a brain fart. the spec blue was the blue color unavailable in japan unless you bought it as a sports modellista model. they do have carbon blue there. carbon blue is just one of the models i havent seen pictures of as a sports m. i have seen black, red, white, silver, and of course spec blue. i havent seen carbon blue, or yellow (was yellow a newer released color? i cant remember if it was one of the original colors).
